We all love a good beer, but every now and then it’s good to switch things about a bit, after all, variety is the spice of life!
As such, we’re happy to introduce the latest addition to the Queenscliff Brewhouse, our very own Whisky Bar – Jim Morrison would be proud!
Well-known food identity Ross Ebbels couldn’t keep away from Queenscliff, and we’re happy to welcome him back as the Whisky Bar Manager. Besides several years of experience in the industry, his passion for great food and drink ensures the bar is in the safest of hands, and that a fantastic customer experience is guaranteed.
A huge range
We’ve travelled the world in search of some of the finest whisky known to man, from the sweet golden nectar of lowland Scotland, to the smoky, oak aged sour mashes from Kentucky. On our quest we’ve picked up over 200 different types of whisky – we’ve even managed to sneak in some gin and rum as well!
Take your time and peruse our collection, you’re bound to come across rarities that you’ve never heard of before. Spicy single malts from obscure islands off the Scottish coast, smooth Japanese tipples and locally produced, small batch whiskies to make your mouth water, we have them all!
Don’t worry if you can’t make your mind up, there is a lot of choice after all, especially if you’re new to the world of whisky. We offer whisky flights for just $30, showcasing different styles from around the world – ideal to help you choose the whisky for you.
For those we don’t like spirits, we’ve got beer and wine available in the whisky bar as well.
While whisky is great for sipping and looking classy with, we understand you might prefer a longer drink from time to time. Well have no fear, we’ve developed a number of whisky based cocktails for you to enjoy. Classics such as the tart and punchy whisky sour or the bittersweet old fashioned are always popular, but we’ve also come up with a range of modern tipples to delight your tastebuds.
Our cocktail list also incorporates our range of gins and rums, so if you fancy a refreshing mojito or a just a simple G&T, we’ve got you covered.
